For Real or for Reel: Can the Media Still Be Trusted?
Thesis Statement: The media still remains as one of the most reliable sources of information available today; its ability to disseminate information quickly and efficiently far outweighs any partial partisanship, subjectivity, or bias that could possibly stain the truth in the transmitted information, and besides such inclinations would defy the media sector’s very purpose.
I. Media is any transporter or carrier of information
A. It evolved, from clay tablets to the World Wide Web
B. It was expressed in different forms
1. People hear and say
2. People learned to read and write
II. It is a tool made by the people for the people
A. Humans were created with curiosity
B. No man is an island
1. They associate through trade and entrepreneurship
2. They wanted to be heard
C. They wanted to have fun
III. The media and the people manipulate each other
